Seeing the future of cleantech, Christina used her business acumen and understanding to identify a potential strategic fit between the sustainability goals and ecology system of China's Thirteenth Five-Year Automobile Industry Development Future Plan" and Tesla's need for more capital and expanded production capacity at a critical growth stage.
So in 2016, she spearheaded a partnership proposal between the city of Wuhan and Tesla, which would bring manufacturing jobs and investment to China and raise immediate capital and operational funds as well as access to the Chinese automobile market for Tesla.
The partnership proposed the potential for unparalleled acceleration of the creation of sustainable transport by leveraging large-scale urban infrastructure investment.
SPAC/IPO Negotiations for ASIA'S LARGEST BITCOIN MINING FACILITY
Advised on logistical, compliance, policy, partnership considerations, and SPAC/IPO negotiations for the largest Bitcoin mining facility in Asia looking to enter the US. Provided market analysis and feasibility studies, built financial models, and conducted site visits and selection for the client as needs evolved.
Worked with US legal, accounting, tax, and customs law professionals and government officials from the U.S. agencies to advise on and structure negotiations.
SISTER CITIES PARTNERSHIP WITH BERKELEy, CA & GUIZHOU, CHINA
Established a Sisters Cities relationship between the City of Berkeley, California, and the City of Guizhou, China, working closely with mayoral offices to foster intercultural understanding and bilateral business, educational, and cultural exchanges and projects.
High-level guests at the ceremony included the Vice Mayor of Berkeley, CA, Mayor of Guizhou, UC Berkeley Vice Provost, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, Guiyang High Tech Industrial Development Zone, Education Bureau, Foreign Affairs Bureau.
