Established a Sisters Cities relationship between the City of Berkeley, California, USA, and the City of Guizhou, China, working closely with mayoral offices to foster intercultural understanding and bilateral business, educational, and cultural exchanges and projects.

In 2018, Christina worked with the City of Berkeley, California, USA, to establish friendly cooperation with the city of Guiyang in the province of Guizhou, China.

The cooperation promotes development and exchange in the areas of education, big data, culture, arts, travel, leisure, trade, and environmental protection.
It also facilitates and encourages enterprise and business in both cities with opportunities for investment in high-tech and equipment manufacturing.
Christina worked with the City of Berkeley to send a delegation from the city, including the Vice Mayor of Berkeley Ben Bartlett, to Guiyang and attend the 2018 China International Big Data Industry Expo.
During the delegation's visit, Christina brokered the sister cities' exchange of valuable information in the fields and projects of mutual interest, which culminated in the signing of the Friendship Memorandum agreement between the cities of Berkeley and Guiyang.
